A 32-year-old woman was sexually assaulted after being pulled into a van in the parking lot of Reston Glen apartments on Tuesday night, Fairfax County Police said Thursday afternoon.
Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred Tuesday, February 26. Around 11:20 p.m. a 32-year-old woman was walking from Pinecrest Road through the Laurel Glade apartments when she reported a man grabbed her from behind and displayed a weapon. She was pulled into a van where a second man was waiting. The suspects were described as possibly Hispanic and the van was described as being similar to an older model Plymouth Voyager.
Update: Teevee coverage:
A guy matching this description attempted to abduct 3 women already. He was following my friend and she got his plates and reported him. When she did it the police didn't even know about the attempted abductions in the news. The police have had this information since summer. Sad.
