Meanwhile, in the Anti-Reston: Lines, Lines, Everywhere Lines

Twitter user "Alex" shared this fancy photo from the top of the Ferris Wheel at this weekend's Herndon Festival, providing a bird's eye view of the event's most popular draw: waiting in lines to wait to stand in lines. On the plus side, Tilt-a-Whirl!

  1. 'waiting in lines to wait to stand in lines'

I thought the Herdon Day Labor Center closed, no?

  2. The correct name, Daddy, was El Centro de Labores de todo dia en Herndon. The new center is now called El Seite Once en Calle Alabama.

  3. The Herndon Festival is always a crowded, sometimes rowdy affair, with masses of teens and young adults standing in lines for the rides, or just milling around aimlessly. Not a fun event for many people at all.
