On the YouTubes: Everyone Loves Puppies -- Especially This Guy

Thank goodness we managed to find the YouTubes video for the local Comcasts channel, or we'd never be able to share quality programming like this! Listen to Lloyd Aguero, a local "Applied Canine Problem Behavior Consultant," talk about "children and puppies, or just adults and puppies, or just puppies and puppies." Hey, whatever floats your boat, we always say.

As an added bonus, children with comical hats read to a puppy wearing some sort of harness. It must be Friday, because nothing's making sense right now.

  1. Sorry, folks, but Lloyd Aguerro is no Victoria Stilwell.

  3. I had once hired Lloyd to help train my Springer Spaniel. Loyd seemed to have a good time with Spot and Spot liked lLoyd but then he liked everyone (he would often try to mate with anyone he happened to meet). The thing about the working version of Springers as opposed to the Show version 1s they are just so energetic always looking for birds. The thing that really ended up helping the most with Spot despite numerous training efforts was a "gentle leader."

  4. Rod, I'm confused ... is it Loyd that would often try to mate with everyone...???

  5. No not Lloyd, Spot. I remember one particular trying time when my mother in law (not really a dog person) visited.

  6. Speaking of dogs, If you have a dog you don't think much about taking it for a walk but if you don't it is loads of fun. There are lots of people who like to walk but have no dog. If you could figure out how to bring the two together it would seem to me to be a good thing. For some reason when I suggested this on Cafe Freecycle it brought storms of protest but I still don't understand why.
