Never Forget

  • Staff Sgt. Nathaniel J. Nyren , 31, of Reston; Army, Iraq, Dec. 28, 2004
  • Lance Cpl. Tavon L. Hubbard , 24, of Reston; Marine Corps, Iraq, Aug. 11, 2004

  1. I offer my gratitude to all of our service personnel, but especially to the Hubbard, Nyren and Kirkpatrick families, on Memorial Day. Thank you ever so much for your sacrifice.

  2. And did you know that Reston resident, USAF TSgt Patrick L. McDermott, had the honor of playing taps this morning at Arlington for the wreath laying ceremony? He's a member of the USAF Ceremonial Brass.
