On Saturday, October 24, officers<br />were called to an apartment in the 11900 block of Winterthur Lane around 3:40 p.m. to check on<br />the welfare of an adult man. They located Ronald Robertson sitting inside. The body of a woman was also found inside the apartment. An investigation determined the victim, Karen Deck, of<br />1599 Inlet Court in Reston, suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. No charges have been<br />placed at this time for the victim’s death; however, Robertson, 45, of 11900 Winterthur Lane<br />#PH3 in Reston, was charged on Wednesday, October 28 with possession of a firearm by a<br />convicted felon.
